MARKETING COMMITTEE (Brian Gent, Chair) - focusing on market expansion, sustainability identifiers and benefits, marketing messaging, member in-house awareness for concrete pavements to support the RMCAO Pavements program
MEMBERSHIP (John Vanderpas, Chair) - to identify potential new members in Active and Associate categories and to contact regarding RMCAO membership. CONCRETE Apps can be used to outline and easily explain programs and member value
PAVEMENTS - expansion in Municipal and Provincial Arterial and Collector pavement market, on-line pavement tools development (e.g. CANPavTM), consulting engineers, contractors, education, specifications, seminars, demonstrations, MTO, Association of Municipalities Ontario (AMO), and Transportation Association of Canada (TAC) (Mick Prieur)
PROMOTION - RMCAO sponsorship and participation with major events such as Concrete Canada (Ross Monsour), Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show, Ontario Concrete Awards (Bart Kanters), and continuing promotion of applications and technologies such as Insulating Concrete Forming Systems (ICF), Tilt-Up, Pervious Concrete and Parking
TECHNICAL COMMITTEE (Peter Moylan, Chair) - MTO, MEA, OPS, OBC, OGCA, ORBA, OSSGA, NBC, CSA, ACI, Concrete and Construction Specifications, RMCAO Certification, construction guidelines, research, technological and material advancements, on-line tools (e.g. SCC Calculator and CMATSTM), government and other stakeholder relations, as well as bringing information, advisories and recommendations to the membership
TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE (Pat Solomon, Chair) - weight law proposals, CVOR, Driver Training, Regulations, Legislation, Best Practices Guidelines for members, government and other stakeholder relations, and to bring information and advisories and recommendations to the membership
