Ontario Concrete Pavement Seminar 2023

In collaboration with the Ministry of Transportation (MTO) Pavement Section and the Centre for Pavement and Transportation Technology (CPATT), Concrete Ontario and the Cement Association of Canada are thrilled to be hosting the Ontario Concrete Pavement Seminar. A 2-day seminar focusing on the basics of concrete pavements, sustainability, construction, maintenance, case studies and in-depth design.
This 2-day seminar is being hosted by concrete pavement industry professionals and is intended for anyone who has interest in concrete pavement design or anyone who may already be designing concrete pavements. Participants will vary from University students, Municipal Engineers to Engineering Consulting firms.
The first day will start off with the basics of concrete pavements, sustainability, construction, maintenance, and case studies. The second day will review design details and will offer participants the opportunity to go through the process of designing a concrete pavement using the latest thickness design software available. To get the full experience, participants are encouraged to bring a laptop to partake in the design process.
