Active membership may be granted to such persons, firms and corporations engaged in Ontario in the business of the supply and/or sale of ready mixed concrete. To qualify for active membership, both plant and equipment must undergo a rigorous inspection before being “Certified” as capable of producing high quality concrete. An Active Member may also be eligible for a Seal of Quality or Seal of Special Quality by demonstrating the ability to produce concrete with two levels of proficiency of coefficients of variation.
There must be compliance to the Approved Quality Plan which includes the Audit and Check List Statistical Analysis Program.
Associate membership may be granted to such persons, firms and corporations engaged in the manufacture and/or sale of machinery, equipment, supplies and services used in the ready mixed concrete industry.
Note: Members of the Concrete Ontario must comply with the By-Laws, policies and directives of the Board of Directors. The Best Management Practices (BMP) is designed to assist the producer, customer and owner in receiving the quality product specified.
Non-compliance will result in suspension of membership from the Ontario Concrete.
