What’s the Camp Day Challenge all about?
Why did Concrete Ontario and Campfire Circle (formerly Camp Ooch) decide to call our donation campaign a “Challenge”?
First and foremost, there is the challenge of sending a child with or affected by cancer to camp each year. Campfire Circle is 100% privately funded which makes it a huge challenge to secure donations.
It takes $150 to send a child to camp for 1/2 a day, and that’s the challenge that we pose to our members: Raise $150 per plant or per associate member company.
We challenge you to get the word out, build awareness and raise donations for a great cause!
Finally, we challenge our industry to reach and surpass our goal. Whether it’s a company fundraiser, company donation matching or donations from employees, family and friends; the Challenge is out there, and we hope you challenge yourself to support Campfire Circle and the Concrete Ontario Camp Day Challenge.
This year Concrete Ontario is looking to take our fundraising goal further by continuing with the online company pages and working in conjunction with our members’ individual events and fundraising efforts to make our industry’s support of Campfire Circle bigger and better, so that even more kids can go to camp this year!
If you do not have a page from last year and would like to join this years fundraising efforts, we need your consent. Please fill out the consent form below and the staff at Campfire Circle will get a company page up and running for you.
