Being kept informed of the issues which affect the ready mixed concrete industry and its stakeholders
Concrete Ontario has 2 membership tiers – Active and Associate. Active members are involved in the supply and/or sale of ready mixed concrete while Associate members are in the manufacturing and/or sale of machinery, equipment, supplies and services in the industry.
Concrete Ontario represents 96 Active and 78 Associate member companies. Concrete Ontario members produce approximately 96% of the provincial concrete volume.
An Active member is a person, firm or corporation engaged in Ontario in the business of the supply and/or sale of ready mixed concrete. Active members have their plants and equipment undergo a rigorous inspection before “Certified” as capable of producing high quality concrete. An Active Member may also be eligible for a Seal of Quality or Seal of Special Quality by demonstrating the ability to produce concrete with two levels of proficiency of coefficients of variation.

Associate MembersBeing kept informed of the issues which affect the ready mixed concrete industry and its stakeholders
Promoting a close relationship between the ready mixed concrete producer, its suppliers, and customers
Sharing the benefits realized through the aggressive marketing program and the creation of larger markets
Learning of many new innovations within the industry which may improve your performance
Having your company (products/services) listed on our website alongside other reputable companies
Demonstrating to all potential customers that your plant is certified (as a condition of membership)
Having a strong voice through the Association in stemming the tide of potentially damaging legislation
Benefiting from the Association’s influence on many Canadian Standards Association (CSA) committees, and other industry-related bodies
Accessing an elite pool of resources and programs, such as the latest research and insight, marketing and promotional support and tailored educational programs
Taking part and enjoying a calendar of events including annual skiing, golf events and the AGM and Convention
Becoming involved with any of the standing or ad hoc committees that work to improve all aspects of the ready mixed concrete industry
Using the expertise of the Regional Industry Councils (RIC) to assist in the solution of local issues and challenges
