Dear Concrete Ontario Members,
Your valuable feedback on the most recent Driver Survey, as well as your comments to Concrete Ontario staff and board members, has identified the recruitment of Concrete Delivery Professionals (CDPs) as a significant, ongoing challenge that our industry faces.
We’ve consulted with experts in trucking and transportation, as well as marketing professionals, and they agree on the following: Our industry’s best ‘recruitment agents’ for the drivers of tomorrow are the drivers of today. Encourage your current CDPs to share their stories in a positive way, to promote our industry and help us get those stories in front of key recruitment demographics.
Concrete Ontario is excited to launch: Concrete Careers – #BuildYourLife – CDP Edition
This is a dynamic video contest, with attractive prizes, that gives our member’s employees an opportunity to share their experiences and legacies. We are providing a platform for the drivers of today to answer some key questions on video, that encourage others to learn more about the concrete industry.
These videos will be submitted to Concrete Ontario and be used to create recruitment videos that will be placed on effective digital marketing sites and other platforms to drive interest in Concrete Careers, supporting our members’ driver recruitment efforts. They will also be provided to members to aid in their own recruitment campaigns.
For this effort to be a success – we need you!
- Bring this contest to your drivers.
- Encourage them to participate. (Wearing company ‘colours’ for the video is encouraged. Have fun with this contest by celebrating company culture and pride!).
- Support their efforts with their submissions.
