Introduction
The Concrete Ontario Truck Certification or Concrete Ontario Sub-Contracted Ready Mixed Concrete Truck Certification is also specified by MTO, Municipalities and many owners.
How it Works
Concrete Ontario defines a Sub-Contracted Ready Mixed Concrete Truck with a qualified driver as:
“a truck contracted to do part of member’s work”.
It is a Concrete Ontario policy that all trucks used by Concrete Ontario Active Members must be inspected and certified by Concrete Ontario approved third-party auditors, and clearly show the Concrete Ontario Truck Certification or Concrete Ontario Sub-Contracted Ready Mixed Concrete Truck Certification sticker. Only those “certified” trucks are used for the delivery of concrete by the Concrete Ontario member. This supports of the best practices for the quality of concrete and CSA Standards, MTO, OPSS and Ontario Building Code requirements.

Concrete Ontario’s Approved Quality Program© for Ready Mixed Concrete Production Facilities includes certification cards for all concrete mixing and delivery vehicles (Section 4. Inspection and Certification of Delivery Vehicles). Drivers must place truck cards visibly on the interior of the rear window of the delivery vehicle.
